Union Stone is a company dedicated to customer satisfaction for your granite, quartz, marble, quartzite and Dekton countertops. All our installations come with a 1-year warranty. This warranty covers joints and sink fixtures.

Inclusion:

• If your gasket comes loose due to the movement of new kitchen cabinets during the first year after countertop installation.

Exclusion:

• Change of joint color between two countertops.
• Joint cleaning.
• Cracked or loose seal due to excessive weight or external force.
• All chemical and food stains.
• Vein, micro-fissure, crystals with a different shape or color, geological form forming part of the natural stone.
• Breakage, cracks, chips and chipping of material (granite, marble, quartz, Dekton, quartzite or other natural stone).
• Sink detached due to excessive weight.

Cosentino, S.A.U. warrants to any owner of a registered Silestone by Cosentino product against possible manufacturing defects in the product for a period of TWENTY-FIVE (25.-) YEARS from the date of purchase. Please retain the purchase invoice.

Items covered by warranty.

COSENTINO, S.A.U. is obliged to replace or repair the defective product according to the terms and conditions defined in this document, and with the same characteristics (color, thickness, etc.) as the product purchased by the customer, for a period of TWENTY-FIVE (25.-) YEARS.

This warranty covers SILESTONE® by Cosentino® quartz surfaces intended for two-dimensional applications, such as
countertops that will be permanently installed inside the dwelling (or a building reserved for use other than as a dwelling) of the consumer or end user of the product. The choice of color and finish must be determined before purchase, as any subsequent modifications will not be covered by this warranty.

In all cases, the warranty will be applicable if the consumer strictly complies with the SILESTONE® by Cosentino® product use and maintenance instructions, which are detailed in the user manuals available for the product's various applications.

Items not covered by warranty

Any type of damage caused, directly or indirectly, by any action, work or intervention of third parties other than the personnel
of COSENTINO, S.A.U., such as problems due to improper finishing/manufacturing of the product, improper installation procedures or any modification or manipulation of the original SILESTONE® by Cosentino® product, such as color variations, thermal shock or improper chemical treatment, carried out by third parties other than the personnel of COSENTINO, S.A.U.

Damage caused by improper use, such as..:

(i) use of the product for purposes other than those for which it was designed;
(ii) use of the product in violation of applicable technical or safety standards;

(iii) failure to follow the instructions in the operation and maintenance manual; and

(iv) exposure of the product to external conditions.

Natural disasters, damage caused by the interaction of other products or any other circumstance beyond the control of COSENTINO, S.A.U.

Variations in colors and/or tones due to the natural evolution of the product's various components.

Cracks in the countertop after installation. Therefore, cracks in the final product are not considered defective material. The main causes of cracks are movement, direct application of heat to the surface, placing an excessively heavy object on the countertop, or impacts to the material after installation.

Among the manufacturing defects covered by the Warranty as defined in this document, the durability, throughout the warranty period, of services ancillary to the product's own functionality is not included.

Chips or splinters. Chips are not the result of defective material, but are caused by rubbing and impact from objects on the edges of the countertop.

Any indirect or unforeseen damage, loss or expense beyond the product itself, such as, by way of example and not limitation, damage to other products or installations, or additional plumbing, electrical or masonry repairs which may be necessary to repair or replace the SILESTONE® by Cosentino® product covered by this warranty, are expressly excluded from this warranty and shall be borne by the consumer.

Likewise, any damage that may occur after the covered defect has appeared, including that which may occur during the process of presenting and processing the claim, as well as during any time required to replace the product, will be expressly excluded from the present warranty. This exclusion also applies, by way of illustration, to any loss, including loss of profit, likely to occur in commercial, industrial, professional or simply real estate activities, of which the consumer, the purchaser of the product or any third party may be the victim.

Any problem or damage resulting from intensive and continuous use of the product over an extended period of time: including, but not limited to, discoloration, loss or reduction of performance and aesthetic characteristics, as well as soil heave.
Problems, damage or inconvenience caused by the presence of static electricity or the use of products designed to eliminate or reduce its effects.

Damage caused by failures or omissions in the technical designs on which SILESTONE® by Cosentino® products are based.

Any differences that may be observed between samples or photographs of any SILESTONE® by Cosentino® product and the actual products purchased are also excluded. Likewise, stains caused by material components and polishing defects are also excluded, since COSENTINO, S.A.U. does not, under any circumstances, market products which, for any reason whatsoever, would present this type of defect.

This warranty is void if the product has been repaired and/or tampered with without being duly inspected by COSENTINO, S.A.U.

This warranty only covers the replacement of the defective product by another with similar characteristics (color, thickness, etc.) to the one purchased by the customer, except in the event that the latter is no longer referenced, in which case it must be replaced by the closest available product.

25-year warranty on Silestone quartz slabs. Transferable warranty

Cosentino and Union Stone's obligation under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective product. This shall not include any other work (cutting, fabrication, polishing), repair or modification such as plumbing, sink installation, electrical or backsplash that may be necessary to repair or replace the warranted product. All other repairs and modifications are the responsibility of the customer. Replacements are made strictly at the customer's risk. Damage to cabinets or backsplash is possible. Union Stone retains, at its option, the right to refund the original purchase price of the manufactured product paid to Union Stone, in full and final satisfaction of this warranty obligation.
